for everyone

As much as Adam David's po-pomo hipsterpain and long, asphyxiating sentences are an acquired taste, his identity as a critic--as a voice--is distinct and important.

Not to take anything from him, but the sheer wtfery of the text quoted here is not adequately conveyed through static text. It should be rendered as such:

“Besides, I’m generally uninterested in making discourse.”

"Besides, I’m generally uninterested in making discourse."

"Besides, I'm generally uninterested in making discourse."

Edit:Conchitina Cruz is one of the very few reasons I still bother. Buying Filipino books and doggedly gifting "Smaller and Smaller Circles," "Dark Hours," and "Trese" to random friends and acquaintances, I mean.
